Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures that help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access control protocols at a financial institution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive screening and documentation practices.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery records, report unusual activity, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe conditions, identify concerns, and report security-related issues according to site policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
