Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat08:00 PM - 08:00 AMSun08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.Respond to incidents, delivery discrepancies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.Monitor gates, entrances, loading areas, and/or designated checkpoints to help support authorized access, track visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual or suspicious behavior.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse, yard, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, access issues, and/or operational irregularities in accordance with site policies. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
