About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location in Springfield, OH, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and security-related support while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry points, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
- Monitor and document the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the facility, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with attention to security-related concerns that may arise in a food and beverage location.
- Complete logs, visitor records, and incident reports with accuracy, while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
