About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Fontana, CA, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and document security-related events. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, guests, and operations.
This is a part-time position with the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor access control systems, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue and track visitor or contractor access materials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Control entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Note: This site has limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Pay
$19.32 per hour.

- Sunday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
