Security Officer Access Control
Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control in Saint George, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and perform routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, support a welcoming customer experience, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
- Assist with visitor check-in, credential verification, and routine access logs while maintaining a professional presence at assigned entry points.
Minimum Requirements
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
