About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Camden, TX, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming, secure environment. You will communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and guests while helping to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries; maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel, screen incoming deliveries as directed, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
