Security Officer - Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify issues and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and key operational areas while documenting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with directional guidance and reporting, and follow post orders related to the automotive environment and daily site operations.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
