Security Officer - Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor access points, gates, and/or receiving areas to help support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries throughout the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the perimeter, parking areas, dock areas, and interior spaces, to help identify security-related concerns and report them according to post procedures.
• Prepare accurate logs, reports, and/or incident documentation related to access control activity, visitor management, and other security-related events.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Loss prevention experience.

DayTime: Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
