$22.66 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access control points for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by verifying credentials, reviewing delivery documentation, and controlling entry and exit activity at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and trailer yards, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor access, vehicle activity, deliveries, and other security-related incidents and/or observations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
