Security Officer Access Compliance Officer

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related protocols for people, vehicles, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize access for employees, contractors, and/or guests, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, loading areas, parking areas, and other assigned locations, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Maintain accurate logs related to visitor activity, vehicle movement, deliveries, and/or other access control events while following post orders and security-related procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
