Security Officer Access Compliance
About the role
As a Security Officer Access Compliance in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor management protocols.
- Monitor entrances, exits, lobbies, and/or other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site policies and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Document visitor activity, access exceptions, and/or incident details in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
