GTI Values: Safety I Quality I Customer Obsession I Speed I Agility The Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the physical security strategy for GTI's Arizona operations, including facilities located in Phoenix, Goodyear, and Tempe. This leader will oversee site security personnel, security contractors, access control systems, surveillance technology, investigations, emergency response planning, and overall facility security compliance. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or critical infrastructure environments and has demonstrated success managing multi-site security operations. This individual will work cross-functionally with Operations, Human Resources, Facilities, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Information Technology, and Executive Leadership to identify security risks, mitigate threats, and ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities Physical Security Leadership Lead all physical security operations across GTI's Arizona facilities in Phoenix, Goodyear, and TempeDevelop and execute company-wide security policies, procedures, and site standardsEnsure consistent security practices across multiple manufacturing campusesEvaluate security risks and implement proactive mitigation strategiesConduct routine security assessments and vulnerability analyses Personnel Management Lead, coach, and develop onsite security teams and third-party security providersEstablish staffing schedules and ensure appropriate security coverage across all shiftsConduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and ongoing development of security personnelPromote accountability, professionalism, and exceptional customer service throughout the security organization Access Control & Surveillance Oversee badge access systems, visitor management processes, CCTV systems, alarms, and perimeter securityEnsure proper authorization procedures for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitorsPartner with Facilities and IT to maintain security technology and system functionalityReview surveillance footage and investigate security-related incidents when necessary Investigations & Incident Response Lead investigations involving theft, workplace violence, vandalism, policy violations, or other security concernsPrepare detailed investigative reports with documented findings and recommendationsCoordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when requiredMaintain evidence and documentation in accordance with company policies Emergency Preparedness Develop and maintain emergency response plans for all Arizona facilitiesCoordinate emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and crisis management activitiesServe as the primary security leader during emergency situationsPartner with EHS leadership to support business continuity planning Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local security regulationsMaintain security records, incident logs, and audit documentationRecommend improvements based on trends, security metrics, and incident dataSupport insurance inspections, customer audits, and facility security assessments Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Human Resources regarding employee investigations and workplace concernsCollaborate with Operations leadership to balance production efficiency with facility securityWork closely with Facilities and Maintenance on building security improvementsCoordinate with Information Technology regarding physical security systems and cybersecurity-related physical controlsSupport executive leadership with security planning for visitors, customers, and special events Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of Security Manager experience (Required)Experience managing security operations across multiple facilities or campusesPrevious leadership experience supervising security officers and contract security teamsStrong knowledge of physical security systems, CCTV, access control, alarms, and visitor management systemsExperience conducting workplace investigations and preparing investigative reportsKnowledge of emergency response planning and incident command proceduresExcellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skillsAbility to analyze security risks and implement preventative solutionsStrong organizational and project management abilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office and security management softwareValid Arizona Driver's License with the ability to travel regularly between GTI facilities Preferred Experience Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field preferredProfessional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), or ASIS certifications are highly preferredExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, energy, construction, or critical infrastructure operationsExperience managing contract security providersKnowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace violence prevention, and business continuity planningExperience with enterprise access control platforms, surveillance systems, and integrated security technologies Why Join GTI Fabrication?
