Security / Loss Prevention-Hotel

About the role

As a Loss Prevention / Security Officer, you will help protect our guests, team members, property, and assets while maintaining the warm and professional atmosphere expected of a luxury hotel. This role involves conducting routine property patrols, monitoring hotel areas for safety and security concerns, responding to incidents and requests, and assisting with emergency situations in accordance with hotel procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine property patrols to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor hotel areas for potential safety and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest or team member requests, and emergency situations.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor access points and address suspicious activity.
• Assist with lost and found items.
• Identify potential safety or loss prevention concerns.
• Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and hotel leadership to respond quickly and professionally to situations while minimizing disruption to the guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous hotel security, loss prevention, security, military, law enforcement, or related experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and report-writing skills.
• Dependable, highly observant, and professional.
• Able to remain calm and use sound judgment in challenging situations.

Schedule

Schedule flexibility is required, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
