About the role
As a Security Installation Technician on EchoStar’s Integrated Security team, you will review, understand, and implement installations according to plans provided by Project Managers. A typical day could include patching server software, installing cameras from a man-lift, mounting badge readers, or coordinating service for a remote facility.
Responsibilities
- Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, IP cameras, and intrusion alarm systems
- Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on systems
- Provide administrative support such as project updates to Project Managers and complete/filing all project documentation
- Travel as needed, typically 10%–15% but may fluctuate
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Progressive technical experience in integrated security or low-voltage systems
- Preferred: prior experience leading installations at the site level
- Preferred: programming experience
- Preferred: vendor certification in low-voltage systems (e.g., AMAG, Axis, Milestone, Bosch)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Preferred: postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent

Pay
Compensation: $27.00/Hour – $38.70/Hour (base pay range; individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location).
