About the role
As a Security Guard Unarmed Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
- Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management
Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED (proof required)
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Skills
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
