As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with entry authorization and directing guests as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site policy.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A drug screen may be required to the extent permitted by law.
