As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bay City, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, business locations, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and delivery activity, and report maintenance, lighting, or other property concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, answering questions, and supporting a welcoming retail environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
