Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to support a transportation-focused government location in Seattle, WA. This primarily driving role includes conducting routine vehicle patrols, monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control and badge activities, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation facility
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site personnel and public-service agencies as needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access to restricted areas, check credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is required
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Shift: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday.
