Security Guard Unarmed Driver Patrol Reporting

About the role

As an Unarmed Driver Patrol Security Guard in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify visitor and contractor authorization; and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed property conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.51 per hour.
