About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Driver in Waipahu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor property activity, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and puts people first.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, tenants, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a commercial storage property.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of storage areas, access points, parking areas, common areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access activity and report suspicious persons, vehicles, incidents, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (C123).
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
