SECURITY GUARD SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

• Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as needed.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary.
• Resolve employee’s conflicts and issues promptly and objectively.
• Direct communication with company and outside services.
• Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor.
• Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic.
• Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locations.
• Maintain Outbound Logs.
• Weigh and maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Attend meetings as scheduled.
• Reports to Safety & Health Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous security related experience a plus.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 10-key and computer skills required.
• Ability to handle conflict.
• Communication skills—written and verbal.
• Ability to speak multiple languages beneficial but not required.
• Self-starter & Team player.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills.
• Good attendance Record.
• Must be able to work flexible hours Saturdays & Sundays hours as needed or required.
