Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures related to security
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively
• Interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors to promote a positive hospital culture
• Perform routine patrols and surveillance of hospital grounds and facilities
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting
• Keep detailed records of security activities and incidents

Requirements

• BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association
• North Carolina Drivers License in good standing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a security-related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and moving patients

• Knowledge of hospital security protocols and emergency response procedures
