As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, staff, and guests. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to museum visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public areas, offices, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and museum policies, and help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Schedule: Saturday 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM
