About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Commercial Real Estate.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, railyard-adjacent grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity; assist with directing authorized visitors and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.
