About the role

As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol at Allied Universal in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.
