Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
