Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution in Homestead, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, security-related environment. You will engage with employees and visitors, communicate observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that works for you, including opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$22.00 / hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Saturday: 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM
