As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Operator in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activities.
- Aid with emergency preparedness and response activities, including communicating relevant information to site personnel and first responders as directed.
Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
Skills
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Customer service experience.
- Alarm panel experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
