Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailers, and the facility perimeter to help maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report suspicious activity, property concerns, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
