Security Guard Part Time Patrol Monitor

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for personnel and/or visitors, and assist with traffic flow for deliveries, shipments, and facility operations in accordance with site procedures.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, completing required reports, and following post orders related to property, equipment, and/or inventory movement.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Security-related experience.
