Security Officer Part Time Patrol Monitor

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry, badge verification, and/or directional assistance for staff and guests.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or while assigned to posts, following established reporting procedures and assisting with follow-up when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
