Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document security-related activity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
