Security Guard Part Time Alarm Panel Response

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and adherence to site entry requirements in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Pay

$18.36 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
