Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, parking lots, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, and unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of alarm panels and access control systems.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
