Security Guard Lead Shift 1

Description

Makes hourly rounds to check trailer temps, room temps, and gates. Monitors all associates entering and exiting the building, including car traffic. Answers switchboard calls after hours. Handles billing loads. Implements company policies. Operates company-owned vehicles as needed. Inspects trailers for cleanliness and operability upon entry. Receives shipments of supplies and raw materials. Substitutes for the Security Department as required. Covers for the Security Supervisor during absences. Generally works 2nd or 3rd shifts, with occasional 1st shift work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English, bilingual skills preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain in all weather conditions and up/down stairs
• Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Professional attitude at all times
• Security experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
