About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and building activity, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with site policies, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and property management personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
