About the role

Rogue Valley Manor is Southern Oregon’s premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community, offering a vibrant campus with beautifully maintained grounds, exceptional amenities, and a welcoming environment for residents and team members. We are seeking a Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure community through observation, reporting, customer service, and emergency response.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct security patrols throughout the campus, including buildings, common areas, and parking lots to help maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor surveillance systems, fire alarms, emergency call systems, and respond appropriately to security-related incidents.
• Welcome and direct residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors while providing outstanding customer service.
• Assist with emergency situations, provide escorts when needed, and support staff, residents, and first responders.
• Complete incident reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate important information to team members and leadership.

About You

• Minimum of one year of experience in security, public safety, or a related field.
• Knowledge of alarm systems, communication equipment, and emergency response procedures.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and security-related software applications.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Pay

$18.00 – $23.72 per hour
