Security Guard- Grocery Store

Responsibilities

• Tell stories that reassure and inspire confidence
• Engage with people on all shifts in various environments
• Handle customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control and perform regular patrols
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Create badges for customer employees, vendors, and guests
• Must be computer literate and able to type and learn new programs
• Prior security experience is not required, but prior badging experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Achieve and pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods

Pay

• Competitive hourly wage of $15.00 hourly (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
