About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional support to employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and personnel activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$26.01 / hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
