Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver

About the role
As a Patrol Officer in an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus personnel, visitors, and emergency responders.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid are preferred.
- Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.00 / Hour

- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 06:30 AM - 04:30 PM
