As a Security Guard Full Time Front Desk Security in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence at a professional location, supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment by monitoring entry activity, responding to alarms and incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required entry records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Answer phones, provide general information and directions, and report unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
