Security Guard Full Time Front Desk Intake

About the role
As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and support security-related operations through attentive customer service and clear communication. You will help create a professional, welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and financial institution personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor lobby activity, entry points, alarms, cameras, and other assigned systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while protecting confidential information and supporting a professional financial-services environment.
Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
