Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a healthcare location by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, following site-specific entry procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation while supporting site-specific policies and emergency response activities.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
