Security Guard Full-Time Driver

About the role

As a Full-Time Security Guard Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including facility grounds, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and help deter unauthorized access and policy violations through a professional presence.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.50 / hour

Schedule

• Daytime shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
