Security Guard Full Time Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Driver Patrol Security Guard in Hampton, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position supports a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and collaborating with the Allied Universal team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and report observations through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control, customer and visitor inquiries, and traffic flow during busy store hours, special events, and deliveries.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$17.00 / Hour

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Friday: 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
