This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income or gain hands-on security experience. As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the ability to pick up extra shifts for increased earnings and varied experience. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-related concerns.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift.

Pay

$14.00 / hour

Schedule

• Fixed base shift: Daytime, Saturday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
