About the role

This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Tablet Reporting in Orlando, FL, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours up to 40 per week or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel common areas, guest corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property to deter unauthorized access, disturbances, and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
