Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Tablet Reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Fixed shift: Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (anchor shift) with a six‑month commitment. Through the Claim‑A‑Shift program you can pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across sites, allowing you to work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back as needed.
