As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors while reporting security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, residence hall exteriors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate campus personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Pay and schedule

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Schedule: Daytime Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
