Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access, and report policy violations, damaged equipment, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support security-related operations in a food and beverage location by observing daily activity, assisting with incident reporting, and following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required: Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Patrol and monitoring experience.
• Access control and badge management experience.
